As mentor, helping a third generation 70 years old Commercial & industrial Group to diversify into Smart Metering & Smart Grid Field by virtue of setting up a state of the art R & D as well as Manufacturing & Integration unit to cater to the up coming Smart Grid Deployments requirements in India.

Recent Assignment: (2010 – 2012)

Helped the Energy Meter Division to get de-merged as a separately listed company with renewed focus on Energy. Created separate divisions on Renewable Energy Generation, Energy Audit, and Energy Efficiency along with Energy Metering & AMI division. Built a strong R&D, Engineering and Validation Teams for designing a complete basket of Metering Products & Solutions. Developed a complete spectrum of Products for Utility, Real Estate & Energy Management Segments along with communication Modules, Data Concentrators and Server & Application Softwares.

Deployed Smart Metering & AMI Solutions in Residential & Commercial Buildings, Townships & SEZs and Utilities in multiple States.

Recent Assignment: (2007-2010)

Set up “Corporate Design Excellence Centre” of M/s Indo Asian Fusegear Ltd & supported as the Design Architect for All Electronic Products’ Design. This team is responsible to create latest product designs for 4 independent BUs of the organization, namely: Lighting Division, Home Automation Division, Industrial Switchgear & Control gear division & Static Energy Meter Division. After completion of product designs as per each BU’s needs, the knowhow is transferred to Engineering Deptt. of respective BU/division for day to day customization & support to manufacturing team.

Various leading Real Estate developers are today Deploying an “Integrated In-Building Solution” for delivery of Next Generation Services like High Speed Internet, Video Surveillance, IPTV and various Home Automation Technologies as well as delivery of basic/ legacy services on a common platform.

To cater to this, designed FTTH (Fiber To The Home) based Neutral Multi Service Access Networks developed on the concept of a common shared In-Building Infrastructure for In-Building Services as well as for providing basic services from telecom operators. These FTTH NMSANs are to be deployed in multi-storied residential projects in NCR in the first phase.
